On the Saturday the infamous “Hasta Abajo” floor opens up, inviting the best in Colombia’s perreo, reggeaton, champeta and world music scene with nationals Mareana, Miss Champus, Madame Vacile, Londons The Busy Twist and Flore, plus Rio friend Sonyer taking control of the sweaty second space. Cali’s Julio Garces will join for the first time, plus Dj Mentiras aka Santi from Medellin collective Musica Concreta. Dj Dustin, Unai Trotti and Anna Wall will be making their return alongside national favourites and Bonanza residents Nicolas Duque, Adi and Leeon, whilst Midland, D Tiffany (playing a rare performance with Colombian born NAP as their Ambien Baby project), Liquid Earth, Anthea, Maayan Nidam, Dj Masda, Lawrence, Flo Massé and Basic Moves’ Walrus all make their Bonanza debuts. This years' lineup features a wide array of Bonanza newcomers, plus a fair few of old hands that we couldn’t help inviting back. Originally starting out as an open air, one day event back in 2018, Bonanza has morphed into it’s current multi-space format, running around the clock and featuring a smorgasbord of acts both international and national from across the electronic music spectrum and beyond. Following on from a brilliant return after a 2 year hiatus with the 2022 edition back in February, Rio is proud to present our multi-space, multi-day party, over the first weekend of March 2023.
